Egyptian Lapis Lazuli Amulet of the Royal Crown, c. 1000 B.C.
Beautiful bright blue lapis lazuli amulet of the "red crown" also called crown of Lower Egypt.
Amulets of crowns were symbols of power and were thought to embody the protective goddesses of royalty. Since the crown was worn only by the king and certain deities, the amulet was believed to imbue the owner with the same aura of power and authority.

Material:Lapis lazuli
Culture:Egypt, c. 1000 B.C.
