Carved out of green hardstone, likely serpentine, the faux lidded vessel with guardian lion masks above the handles on either side of the lid and body and a Qilin finial, set on a carved wood base

Overall fair to good condition with wear, dust accumulation, and minor scuffs commensurate with age. Issues and repairs include, but are not limited to: scattered minor chips to the edges and details of the carving and a repair to one handle. As well, there is visible, yellowed adhesive between the lid and the body of the "vessel" as well as between the wood base and the base of the "vessel."
