Description

Lot of two antique German beer steins. The first stein is a 1L lidded stein by Matthias Girmscheid, numbered 1005, titled "Poachers in the Herder's Hut." It depicts Tyrolean hunters or poachers sitting in a tavern, with a poacher standing on the top of the lid. The second stein is a 3L lidded stein by Gerz, featuring a lively scene of men and ladies partying at a table. Both steins showcase intricate detailing and craftsmanship. With heights measuring 17.5" and 13" respectively, they make a striking addition to any collection. While they exhibit some age-related wear, these steins are in good overall condition, preserving their historical charm and character.
