An antique bowl-back mandolin. Ca. 1900s to 1910s. Martin style. Adirondack spruce top. Brazilian rosewood body. Mahogany neck with ebony fretboard. Decorative floral mother-of-pearl inlay. 8 strings. B and J label sticker with model title Victoria and serial numbers 533, 190 is inside. B and J stands for Buegeleisen and Jacobson, a musical instrument distributor based in New York City, active from 1897 to the early 1970s. Rare Collectible Musical Instruments.
