A vintage French enamel pin badge featuring to the obverse an image of a dog with a duck in its mouth within a enamel circle inscription National Hunting Committee in French. In the original box. Circa the 1930s. Provenance: Henri Louis Antoine Lilette, born 1872, le Blanc Sablon, Craonnelle - died 1955, le Blanc Sablon, Craonnelle. Inspecteur General des Eaux et Forets, Chevallier de la Legion dHonneur. As a career officer of Frances Eaux et Forets Administration, 1892 to 1932, Henri Lilette traveled to different countries in his official capacities. As Inspecteur General des Eaux et Forets he was based in Paris. Les Eaux et Forets is responsible for the administration and management of Frances forests, wildlife, and waterways.
