A lot of two antique French etchings on paper. The first: Demetrios Emmanuel Galanis, Greek, French, 1879 to 1966, etching on paper, Poor House in Montmartre, 1925; signed in pencil, lower right; numbered in pencil, 38 of 100, lower left. The second: Alfred Briend de Matignon, French, 1834 to after 1875, antique etching on paper, Rennes, depicting a townscape. Signed and titled in the print, lower right. Demetrios Galanis is known for Landscape, still life and figure painting, printmaking. Alfred Briend de Matignon was a French artist, known for cityscapes.
