Brass Temple Statue of a Foo Dog from India. The Foo Dog is a cross between a lion and a dog and is sometimes called the Chinese lion. It's a symbol of strength, power, and protection. This would of been placed outside at the entrance to a temple to protect the temple being a male foo dog. This is a large and heavy statue at 11 1/w inches tall. There is 1 spot of damage to a decorative piece on top shown in pictures.
