Artist Biography: Carl Sande was born in Milwaukee and attended the State University of Iowa where he served as a graduate assistant in the Art Department. He has also taught at Waldorf Junior College at Forest City. He has a degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. In Canada, Sande was an instructor with the Edmonton Potters' Guild in Edmondton, Alberta.
