Chinese Export blue, white, and color enamel punch bowl, having a Batavian brown rim, the interior centering a pomegranate and floral spray with vestiges of color enamel, having a diapered band at the rim, the exterior decorated with three cartouches depicting scholars and couriers engaged in everyday pursuits on a ground of underglaze blue lotus scrollwork and enameled fuchsia flowers, apparently unmarked.

Examined under blacklight, scattered glaze and manufacturing imperfections, wear to Batavia rim, loss of enamel inside the bowl, one fuchsia flower with small loss to enamel, no chips or flakes noted.
