England, a later 19th century skeleton timepiece, frames with double C scroll base below a pagoda like upper section, horizontal bar with convex scalloped edge at the fusee, and the top with central, stylized lotus flower ornament, five tapering turned pillars, the train with four and five spoke crossings, and recoil escapement, roman numeral white painted dial with concave scalloped edge, fancy brass hands, all on turned brass feet, and resting on an oval wooden base with conforming glass dome
Condition
frames with tarnish and fingerprint staining, dial with craquelure and minor losses, movement dirty, ticking, runs briefly with pendulum, needs service, wooden base with additional board at bottom, base refinished, ACCESSORIES: Pendulum, Dome, circa 1870
