Description
This may be the rarest design Libbey ever made - Snow Crystal. There are only a handful of pieces in this design out there and perhaps it was because the effort involved in making it - it's one of the most intense, well-cut designs ever made. Clearly William C. Anderson was firing on all cylinders when he came up with this one. There are so many motifs I notice something new almost every time I look at it - like the double-miter point flat hobstars with clear buttons (seen on Libbey's Isabella), the unusual point to the central clear button hobstar, or the unpolished fans at the top of the chain of cane. All unique features. And then there's that clear button hobstar formation making up the major motif of the pattern with crosshatched points - just no space was left uncut on this beauty! Likely the only time you'll see this design offered.
