Description

An American Empire Style Mahogany One-Part Bookcase, Early 20th Century. The upper case with shaped cornice and mirrored back over two short drawers over a smaller case, both sections having glazed sides and doors, flanked by applied carved Corinthian columns, raised on lion paw feet. Fitted with three adjustable shelves.

Dimensions: Height 80 1/2in; width 40in; depth 17 3/4in.

Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Collection.

Condition

Structurally sound. Nicks, scuffs and surface scratches overall. There are several scattered losses of veneer. With Key.
