RUSSIAN SILVER TEA CADDY, 1896-1908
of cube shape with rounded top, lift-off cover on silver-mounted cork stopper with ring handle, engraved with a man seated beside a bamboo plant, a chibouk in one hand and boxes of tea by him, the other three sides are engraved with floral motifs, the top with a further floral scrollwork, marked underneath, on the cover and on the neck with 84 silver standard, 1896-1908 kokoshnik stamp, and S.A in Cyrillic for unknown master stamp; height: 12.5 cm (5 in.), weight: 9.2 ozt [without the stopper]
