Two American Renaissance Revival Inlaid, Bronze-Mounted and Marble-Top Parlor Cabinets
third quarter 19th century, attributed to E. W. Hutchings, New York, each with an inset marble top and cast bronze molding around the perimeter of the deck, the front doors and side panels inlaid, one signed "E.W. Hutchings" on the underside of the marble and the other signed "Hutchings" on the underside of the marble.

This cabinet was purchased in Natchez, Mississippi, in the early 1990s. The front right corner of the marble has an old break and repair. Stains to the marble as well. Scuffs and dings around the base. Minor shrinkage separations to the joints. Small veneer losses. Some molding missing at the upper right side of the case.
