Description
An antique late 19th-century French silver sugar bowl by Edmond Tetard, a prominent silversmith active from 1880 to 1903. Basket shape, side handles, cover with figurative finial. The surface is covered with elaborate embossed floral patterns with etched accents. Monogram MAY garnishes the front. The item is gilt inside. Hallmark EDT, French export and assay marks are on the rims and on the bottom. Collectible Silverware, Tableware And Serveware, Tea And Coffee Service.
