Description
Ye Zhongsan (Chinese, late Qing Dynasty). Inside-painted glass snuff bottle. Painted with a continuous scene depicting Zhong Kui, the Demon Queller, with his attendants taking his sister in a wheelchair to be married. Signed along the upper left of the side depicting the sister.

Condition
There are no major chips, cracks, or losses. The spoon is not connected to the lid. There are minute losses along the top rim. The spoon, which is detached from the lid, cannot be removed and is stuck within the opening. There is minute crack along the inside of the neck. There is a diagonal crack across the base. There are minute losses to the footrim, including a minute chip to a corner. There are signs of wear throughout such as light scratches or scuffs as expected from age and use.
