HC. 318 pages, illustrated throughout with photographs and woodblock engravings.Lambert, under the penname of Will Delavoye, assembled this unusual and rather fascinating collection of anecdotes, historical tidbits, poems, and whatever else you might think of, highlighting circus, wild west, burlesque, drama, and so on. It’s a very handsome volume, and quite uncommon: a beautifully clean specimen of the work. VG+.
