1971 RED UNIT: LOT OF TWO.These are definitely one of a kind items from the early Feld-era Greatest Show on Earth. The first folio, identified as the personal property of FRANK PERRY, contains his handwritten notes, diagrams, cues, and technical specs for lighting the 1971 Red Unit edition of the circus. In addition, that particular spiral notebook also contains his notes and sketches for the Red show train (a make-up list), arena layout diagrams for various buildings along the route (Quebec, Long Beach, CA, Anaheim, Chicago, etc), and so forth. The second spiral is not dated, but appears to be from approx. the same era. It focuses primarily on the New York (Garden, most likely) show, with a program rundown, followed by individual pages of the program with cues written in.
