Cain began trouping in the early 1940’s as a circus band musician. He donned his white-face makeup in 1944 and soon became fairly well-known for his clowning. He trouped with many different circuses between the mid-1940’s until the mid-to-late 1980’s. This volume is a memoir that covers his circusing through 1956. An enjoyable read. VG+.
