Description
Ashanti people, wood fertility doll, 20th century. Incredibly detailed and preserved this beautiful fertility doll includes several glass bead necklaces in varying colors from red, yellow, blues and greens. She wears a decorated headdress with an lemniscate and vertical lines. The reverse of her headdress has nkyium style design which is the symbol of skillfulness and precision. Size 12" H on included custom stand.
