Hermes Noir Clemence JPG Shoulder Birkin 42 bag, longer shoulder handles, exterior is a thick Clemence pebbled leather. Rolled handles, drop is 8 in. Bag measures 16.5 in. Long x 9.5 in. Ht x 8 in. Deep. Silver tone hardware, lacks 2 of the bag feet. Some patches of dried leather or some exterior wear ( bottom piping and handle, for example) but could be restored with professional leather cleaning. Bottom of handles lack inner cord structure. Interior maintains the soft theater suppleness but does have leather scratches consistent with use. Designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. Possibly ca. 2008. This launched a collaborative effort between Dumas and Birkin to imagine a design that would fit the bill — and the Birkin bag was born.The Birkin 42 was designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier in 2005.
