Description
This is a lot of three switchmans lanterns from Eastern railroads for part or restoration. They are, from left to right in the main photo, an Adams and Westlake with a 1909 patent from the Delware and Hudson Railroad, which is cast witrh D. & H. CO. on the rim. It has been painted red, but could easily be stripped to reveal original metal. A rare, single patent frame, it comes with a bell bottom, but is missing its globe, burner, and fount. The second lantern is a Dietz Vesta from the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western, cast with D.L.& W. R.R. on the rim. It needs a fount, burner, and globe. The final lantern is an Armspear model from the Delaware Lackawanna and Western. It is cast with D.L. & W. R.R. on the rim, but the rim and chimney are pitted and holed. It needs a burner, fount, and globe.
