This is a Union Pacific Railroad shop clock from the locomotive shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. yes---you heard that correctly! This is where the #4014 Big Boy, #3985 Challenger, #844 Northern, and #838 Northern have all taken up residence! Rescued by a former employee and consigned to us. This clock has been tested and runs, but is sold as-is, and we always recommend servicing all clocks before putting them into regular use. Super rare, unique item! Comes with it original pendulum and key. Key is stamped with ANSONIA CLOCK CO, which is the clock maker from Brooklyn, NY. The original makers label is inside of the pendulum door. Fine wood case. All clocks require third party shipping or pick up by the buyer. We are happy to communicate with your shipper! We do not recommend shipping clocks by UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex because of the fragile nature of the valuable glass and logos on the front of the clocks, as past experience shows how these three firms handle these items!
