Traditionally cast in bronze for use as a cauldron, this small ceramic version is variously named as a vase or censor. Lid with guardian lion finial. Scene on one side of the vessel is a seated person by a table with flower arrangement. Obverse is a group of flowers and butterflies. Crazing throughout, some dirt and discoloration. 5 inches wide x 3.5 x 6.75 inches tall.
