RRUSSIAN IMPERIAL TWO MILITARY BADGES, FRAMED
For your viewing, there are two Russian Imperial military badges. The first comprises a finely crafted heavy silver gilt and enamel badge commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of War in St. Petersburg. The badge features a finely chased Imperial Eagle with the combined applied gold cyphers of Alexander I and Nicholas II on the wings. In the center is an enameled medallion of St. George slaying a dragon above an enameled Order of St. George on a ribbon. Further below is the number 100.
The second badge is a gilt metal badge commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Pavlovsk Infantry School. It is designed with an oak and laurel wreath surmounted by a crown above the cyphers of Nicholas II and Paul I. Below, the number 100 is presented in silver. The verso features the original silver screw cap. Both badges are contained in an attractive gilt frame with a blue velvet mounting board.
HALLMARKS: '84' for silver standard, kokoshnik, ‘AP.' and 'A.B' in Cyrillic for workmasters.
