Offered here for your consideration is a Jeddito black on yellow pottery bowl. Jeddito Yellow Ware is a type of pottery that was made at the Hopi Mesas in northern Arizona, and traded throughout the Southwest. The outside is decorated just below the rim with a black line from which short black lines drop at regular intervals, possibly representing rain. The inside of the bowl is strongly decorated in black repeating, geometric patterns. This bowl presents wear along its rim; there are several chips and there is one section that appears to have been fixed back in place. Make this piece of history yours!

APPROX AGE: The Jeddito is a period of pottery making on Antelope and Third Mesa by the ancestral Hopi people between 1365 and 1600.
SIZE: 9 inches across x 3 3/4 inches deep.
CONDITION: This bowl presents wear along its rim; there are several chips and there is one section that appears to have been affixed back in place.
