Empire Gilt-Bronze-Mounted Mahogany and Satinwood Bureau ? Cylindre

With dark grey marble top.

4 ft. 2 1/4 in. x 4 ft. 9 in. x 27 1/2 in.

Condition

In generally good condition. Marble probably later. Scattered scuffs, nicks and ink stains. Scuffing to the back of either side of the pull-out (replaced tooled leather) writing surface. Wear to the baize lining on the two pull-out shelves on either side. The left shelf missing it's pull (present). Scattered lifting of veneer on the back side. Structurally sound. Four keys. Good color.
