A fine lot of four postcards and covers flown on the airship 'Graf Zeppelin', includes: a Sieger 305Aa 'Mit Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin' card, Switzerland-Brasil, July 14, 1935, with red 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerikafahrt' cachet. Recto is blank; a Sieger 319D postal cover printed with an image of a Zeppelin alongside a Lufthansa plane in flight, Germany-Brasil, Dec. 5, 1935, with red 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerikafahrt' cachet and black 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerika 16. Fahrt' cachet. This cover was mailed by Navigator Hans Ladwig, whose return address appears on the verso; a Sieger 311A real-photo postcard showing the 'Graf Zeppelin' in flight over Friedrichshafen, Germany-Brasil, July 7, 1935, with red 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerikafahrt' cachet and two black 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerika 16. Fahrt' cachets; and a Sieger 316Ab postal cover printed 'An Bord Graf Zeppelin' and a purple stamp below reading 'Mit erstem Condor Anschlussflug nach Chile', Germany-Chile, Oct. 25, 1935, with black 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerika 16. Fahrt' cachet and two 'Deutsche Luftpost Europa-Sudamerika 15. Fahrt' cachets'. Four pieces, very good.
