Description
A silver medal honoring the World Trip made by the airship LZ 127 in 1929, 1.5 in. diameter, struck in Berlin, 1929, by O. Gloeckler. The face of the medal features portraits of Ferdinand von Zeppelin, Hugo Eckner, and Ludwig Durr while on the verso is a globe with the stations and dates of the route taken. Pristine condition with no tarnish or dents, likely uncirculated. The Graf Zeppelin completed its trip around the world in August of 1929, the journey as a whole took 21 days to complete.
