Description

Most unusual printing of the Confederate patriotic song 'Dixie', the color cover (only), 10.5 x 14 in., printed in London by Cramer, Beale & Wood, undated but almost certainly war-date. The piece is headed: 'Southern National Song War Song of Dixie' and displays the Confederate battle flag and national flag. They are surrounded by the motto (in Latin): 'Help yourself, and Heaven will help you'. Stained, margins a bit ragged, matted and framed.
