A trio of interesting vintage items from India, reproductions of Ottoman Empire objects created for the tourist trade of the twentieth-century. Includes: a sword 36 in. long with brass handguard, grip and tip, faintly engraved on blade 'Made in India', with original velvet scabbard. In generally poor shape with pitting to blade, wear and the scabbard threadbare in areas. WITH: an ornate silver and brass 'palaska' (powder flask) accented with coral and turquoise stones, measures 8 in. tall x 5 in. diameter, with two finials at top for hanging from a saddle or haversack. Very good. WITH: a brass cartridge carrier, measures 4 x 3 x 1.2 in. tall, with an incised design and lid that closes by means of tension. With brass slot on verso for hanging. Very good.
