Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Porcelain Moon Vase. Potted in moon vase, thick and tall, with bulbous lower region, moon belly, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight mouth rim, emerge two archaic ruyi handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles, raised on short rectangle foot base with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of two Chinese animal zodiac on the forest. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
