This is what Brilliant Period glass is all about! Fan Border by William C. Anderson/American Cut Glass Co. is easily one of my favorite patterns. The quality is just as good as it gets the design seamless - somehow both very busy and tastefully arranged so that it's not overwhelming. I've been lucky enough to handle several pieces in this vfery rare design and they're always an engineering marvel. All of the bowls and 7" plates all rest and show wear on the clear buttons on the base hobstars. In other words, the cutter made it so the only part of the piece that rests on a surface are the 6 flat, clear-buttons of the central stars! Same, if not better quality than all the great Anderson/Libbey designs. Look at those clear button wedding cake hobstars near the edge.

Good condition - few minor rough spots around the rim and one chip (shown). 9" wide, 2" tall.
