Description

Very unusual monocular telescope, created in France during the last three-quarters of the 19th century, circa 1890. This is a personal pocket luxury monocular telescope, crafted with 2-draws in solid gilt bronze and decorated with inlaid elements carved from natural white and gray nacre. This piece is very chic and actually very useful, since is in perfect working condition. Can be wear in your purse or pocket or used at the opera house. This highly collectable item will be a great conversation piece. Weight: 155.20 Grams.Measurements: Glass diameter is 50 mm. Closed is 57 mm and fully extended is 108 mm (1.97 x 4.25 Inches).

Condition

The overall condition of this piece is exceptional. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the nacre. All parts are secured in the settings and in working condition. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
