Ancient Seas, Cretaceous to Pliocene, ca. 145.5 to 3.7 million years ago. A beachcomber's collection of 8 items: a purple acorn barnacle cluster, 2 calcite matrices containing fossilized bivalve shells and fragments, a fossilized vertebrae from a whale, and 3 large pieces of white coral. The piece of driftwood with an iron nail through the center is thought to be from a 18th to 19th century vessel. Size of largest piece of coral: 9" L x 4" W (22.9 cm x 10.2 cm)
