01.03.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1764: I note all set components are intact and structurally sound, there is minute iron pitting to the interior of the sugar dish, and typical surface wear such as light abrasions and gilt loss concentrated at the handles and central region of plates commensurate with use, examination under UV light does not reveal evidence of restoration or damage, and I do not currently observe chips or hairlines
