Description
Painted plaster bust of Richard Burton as Alexander the Great and an archive related to the bust, bust based on the 1956 film Alexander the Great, depicting Burton in a plumed helmet as seen in the film, signed indistinctly under the shoulder, together with an archive related to the bust comprising, 26 black and white, 8 x 10 studio stills, from Alexander the Great and The Robe, one autographed to Helen Manning in ink, three letters, one dated 1958 and hand written, all are signed in ink, two candid photos of Burton with the bust, and various newspaper articles regarding his passing, all in sleeves in a binder.

Bust having scattered minor chips around the bottom edges, (1) 1/4" chip on side of helmet, and (2) 3" dia brown spots on helmet that appear to be burns, scattered dust and soil, possibly repainted. Archive with slight toning to photos,
