A PRE-COLUMBIAN 'RAM' CERAMIC TRIPOD BOWL
Pre-Columbian era, c. 100 B.C.-250 A.D. The compressed globular body rising from three tapering legs and molded with three raised nodules and a ram's head, overall covered in a brick-red color and painted with black stripes to the exterior.
Condition: With wear, surface scratches, tiny losses, and repairs. Presenting well.
Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent.
