A collection of Chinese hardstone carvings, 19-20th century, comprising: a hardstone pheasant, 14.5cm long, wood stand, a soapstone seal, with a Buddhist lion finial, 7cm long, with a horn box and cover, a jade pendant, pierced and carved with a deer in the woods, 3.7cm long, another jade pendant, pierced and carved with a duck in a lotus pond, 5.5cm long, a jade pouch, the compressed body carved with a deer or a twin fish, with a loop to each side and the bottom for extension, 5cm long, and an agate boy, 5cm long (7) Condition Report: Pheasant - chipped with losses in various locations. Seal - box with cracks. Seal with surface scratches and minute chips to edges. Deer pendant - small chips to edges. Duck pendant - no obvious faults. Pouch - chipped in various locations. Agate boy - small chips to edges, restored to neck.
