Description
This blue and white porcelain transferware set commemorates Commander Thomas MacDonough's victory over the British during the War of 1812 at Lake Champlain, where the British were threatening to invade the United States through Canada. It Consists of a teapot, covered Sugar, and 2 creamers. One handle on the covered sugar bowl has been repaired. The teapot has a chipped mouth.
