Description
Large and impressive signed Native American Zuni or Navajo bolo tie. Old Pawn. Sterling silver mount decorated with two large chisel-stamped, fabricated leaves and eleven stamped peyote buttons. This bolo features an extremely large, tab bezel-set turquoise nugget stone. The back has a handmade double loop clasp to hold the braided leather tie and the sterling tips have an attractive girder style design.
Signed on the reverse with engraved initials (looks like YF.C. or YJ.C. - artists unknown). Circa 1930's - 1940s.
