late 18th/early 19th century, shaped top, conforming case with frieze drawer over cabinet doors, flanked by two deep cabinets, tapered legs, poplar secondary wood, 37 x 72-1/4 x 23 in.
Provenance: Estates of Rebecca K. Pruett and John William Pruett, Jr. (brother), Lexington, Kentucky, descendants of distiller Col. E.H. Taylor, Jr. of Woodford County, founder of the Old Taylor Distillery; Clifton Anderson, Lexington, Kentucky, February 1997, purchased for $11,366.25

scattered sun fading, top with shrinkages and a section of later veneer and veneer patches, top with later pinning, shrinkage and repair to proper right stile, replaced brasses, one front leg with small patch repair, other wear and imperfections as expected with age and use
