Description
An exquisite representation of ancient Egyptian funerary art, this blue glazed faience Ushabti measures 5 cm in height, 1.5 cm in width, and 1 cm in depth (1.97 x 0.59 x 0.39 inches). It dates back to the period between the 20th and 18th Century BC. Ushabtis were placed in tombs among the grave goods and were intended to act as servants for the deceased in the afterlife. This artifact, with its rich blue hue, captures the essence of ancient Egyptian beliefs and customs.
