Upon first inspection this ring looks like an ordinary Victorian gold ring but it contains a surprise. This fascinating Victorian mourning or remembrance ring features two secret compartments containing woven hair from the original owners loved one. Each side has a hidden clasp to open it up with a hinge on the bottom. The center also opens for the insertion of a photo or picture. The picture is missing and the glass is badly scratched but is original to the piece. There are monograms inside of the shank. Size 7. Weighs 3dwt. Not marked but acid tested 14K.
