Description
The largest of Dr. Abrams' case models has a Bakelite top incorporating a Dynamizer with it's associated rheostat, a heater for the Dynamizer, four colored lights with switch to select them, three 4-dial Reflexophones, and two auxiliary knobs,
Among many other fantastic therapies, Dr. Abrams claimed to create a form of treatment that could, with a sample of hair or blood, establish a diagnosis and then transmit healing vibrations back to the patient. Useless knob-covered devices such as this aided the doctor in his ruse.
Dr. Albert Abrams has been dubbed the 'Dean of All Twentieth Century Charlatans.' He took quackery to a new level, exploiting the public's ignorance when it came to real technologies like electricity, along with phony ones he gave names like 'Oscillation' and 'Radionics.' Around 1916, he wrote a book about Physico-clinical Medicine (another fancy but concocted word): the Practical Application of the Electronic Theory in the Interpretation and Treatment of Disease.
Measures 5 x 24.75 x 13 inches.
Without proof of exemption, be aware that internet sales tax applies to all Internet transactions and local sales tax may apply to local pick-up transactions.
We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell.
Until further notice, we cannot offer international shipping in-house.
