The groundbreaking streamlined 'Teardrop' design by Dick McCoy for Duro-Matic Products Company, Hollywood, California was first manufactured circa 1942. The motor mounted behind the wheels is marked HORNET in embossed letters and each tire is lettered Duro-Matic Prod. Hollywood, Calif, original paint as shown.
