BIOGRAPHY:
Preston was a member the Society of Independent Artists. He exhibited in 1940 and 1941 at the Salon of Independent Artists. In 1940 he exhibited two paintings, a portrait and a painting called Stage Door. In 1941, he exhibited two more paintings, one called Lotus Estates and the other one called Rush Hour.He is listed in Who Was Who in American Art and in the exhibition records of the Society of Independent Artists.There is no further information about him after 1941; the war may very well interrupted his career as it did many artists.
