Putnam's Sons, The Knickerbocker Press, New York and London; 8vo, each covered in blue cloth boards with gilt-stamped grape leaf and trellis design (by Margaret Armstrong), gilt top edges with uncut deckle fore and bottom edges, silk marking ribbons, with numerous illustrations and photographs separated by lettered tissue pages. Volumes include: BROWNING: POET AND MAN, A SURVEY, 1899, 3rd printing June 1903; THE ROSSETTIS: DANTE GABRIEL AND CHRISTINA, 1901, 4th printing March 1903; WILLIAM MORRIS: POET CRAFTSMAN SOCIALIST, 1902, 1st printing; and TENNYSON: HIS HOMES HIS FRIENDS AND HIS WORK, 1898, 5th printing October 1903. Each 9 3/4" H x 6 3/4" W.
Condition
Each very good condition with slight lower spine bumping, silk ribbons intact but fragile.
