Continental School, 19th century, oil on canvas painting depicting a woman peeling oranges while a child watches beside her. Recto is unsigned; illegible inscriptions with possible title, signature and accession number en verso. Antique giltwood frame with foliate scroll moldings. Sight: 13"H x 11"W. Frame - 18 12"H x 17"W.

Craquelure throughout. A few minuscule flakes along a line of tenting lower left. Frame has age cracking, some wear, and scattered losses to molding.
