Description
A Chinese fahua glazed Guandi figure, dating from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). A warrior figure with fierce expression sits with right knee off to the side, his hands on his thighs and very alert. His robe is a turquoise Fahua glaze with accents of brown glazed armor on his breast plate and legs. Only the frontal area is glazed.
H. 14 1/2" (36.8 cm)

Condition: in overall fair condition with surface wear, glaze flake and manufacture imperfection, a crack can be seen to the lower back
